Marketing and Project Manager
KAR Creative KAR Creative is looking for a talented Marketing Manager to join our team and drive cross-channel success for our roster of better-for-you, consumer packaged goods clients.
Equal parts project management, strategy and execution, the perfect candidate for this role has experience in editorial and performance marketing channels and is able to manage and ideate on high performing campaigns with the support of technical experts.
This role is part-time contract. Hourly range is $40-45 DOE.
Role Responsibilities
Editorial Calendar Management
Oversee the editorial calendar for client projects ensuring that it is consistently updated with relevant dates and information.
Ideate on relevant campaigns and cross-channel content initiatives to drive success on performance channels. And are able to effectively communicate these ideas with clients to drive buy in and success.
Email Program Management
In line with the editorial calendar, build email content ideas that drive ROI for clients.
Lead copywriting for email and SMS programs employing on brand tone of voice.
Act as design project manager to ensure excellent execution of email concepts in design.
Consult email marketing technical experts to ensure that email and SMS content delivers on key requirements.
Upload email content and ensure consistency of program.
Collaborate with email marketing technical experts to complete email marketing reports for clients monthly.
Project Management
Act as a project manager ensuring that key players across channels and functions are delivering high-quality work on time.
Work alongside the agency's chief creative officer to mastermind campaign concepts and manage various creatives in execution against these concepts. Including managing timelines and projects for copywriters, designers, social media managers and community managers.
Paid Social Media Management
Concept high performing paid social creative
Act as design project manager to ensure excellent execution of paid social concepts in design.
Edit video content for excellent performance in paid social.
Consult paid social strategy experts to ensure excellent execution of budget and strategy management.
Continuously optimize and maintain campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and TikTok.
Create client reports that prove channel success and offer recommendations for expanded programming.
Partnerships and Influencer Management
Help create meaningful partnership content from ideation through execution, reaching out to relevant brands, maintaining communications and creating content.
In partnership with our community manager, manage influencer relationships on behalf of our brands. Maintaining influencer databases and coordinating outreach.
Work closely with social media managers to create excellent content briefs for influencers and content creators.
Account Management
Coordinate client approvals on relevant projects.
Participate in and run client meetings and check-ins ensuring that inputs are captured to effectively plan and maintain client calendars.
Act as the main point of contact on assigned client accounts and monitor client Slack channels and take initiative to complete client requests.
About You
You have a minimum of 3 years experience working on the client or agency side working on cross-channel marketing projects and initiatives.
You are highly organized and have impeccable attention to detail. You are able to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and timelines.
You have strong copywriting skills and are able to effectively write and edit content and content briefs for email and paid social with the support of a copywriter.
You are an excellent communicator with high EQ. You have the innate ability to communicate and get along with many different personalities and can offer effective feedback and solutions to internal team members. Similarly, you are able to communicate well with clients and capture the need underneath the need by asking smart and effective questions.
You have experience with Meta, TikTok Ads Managers and Klaivyo and are able to drive successful campaigns by consulting technical experts.
You are a hard working, self starter who is motivated by great results and doing things right. You like to work smarter, not harder and will consistently look for ways to streamline internal processes in order to provide our clients with the best possible product.
You have previous experience using a typical agency tech stack including Figma, Reporting Tools, Slack, G-Suite, Klaivyo, Meta Ads, Notion, etc.
